Rules of membership

  1. Membership is valid for one calendar year.
  2. Membership dues and the Exercise Pass are personal and cannot be refunded. The Pass is also non-transferable.
  3. Membership in IF Friskis&Svettis Uppsala entails that your personal data will be registered and stored, in accordance with the Personal Data Act (Personuppgifteslagen, PUL), for the administration of membership. Data will not be released to third parties. The Association's Personal Data Ombudsman is Ingrid Hovstadius, CEO of Friskis&Svettis Uppsala.
  4. Lending of Membership/Exercise Passes to others is forbidden and will result in suspension.
  5. As an active member of IF Friskis&Svettis Uppsala you can exercise at member rates at other Friskis&Svettis associations if space is available.
  6. Random doping tests are taken. Anyone caught using doping will be suspended.
  7. Applications for membership may be rejected if it can be assumed that the person in question will work against the interests of the Association.
  8. A member may be suspended and his/her Exercise Pass invalidated for inappropriate behavior, such as doping, theft, aggressive conduct and/or threats against members, functionaries, and staff. Measures may also be taken in severe cases of eating disorders.
  9. Bring your Exercise Pass to each exercise session. If you forget to bring your Exercise Pass three times during a season, a fee of 100 kr will be charged.
  10. The Exercise Pass is valid only at Friskis&Svettis Uppsala.
  11. For trial exercising, you pay a one-off fee. If you purchase an Exercise Pass within one month after the trial visit, the one-off fee will be refunded upon presentation of a receipt.
  12. An Annual Pass may be frozen no more than once for a maximum of 60 days for a fee of 100 kr. The Annual Pass cannot be frozen retroactively.
  13. A lost Exercise Pass will be replaced for an administrative fee of 100 kr.
  14. Valid ID must be shown for a Student Pass. A certificate of studies must be presented within 60 days after the purchase of a Pass for a refund of the difference between regular and student rates.
  15. A parent or guardian must be present at the purchase of an Exercise Pass for a person under the age of 16, and at the signing of the rules of membership.
  16. All exercising is undertaken at your own risk and your own liability.
  17. For entry to bookable sessions, you must present a session ticket.
  18. Storage of personal belongings such as clothing and valuables is done at your own risk. Thefts do occur, unfortunately.
  19. All of our scheduling is preliminary and may be changed, based on usage. For major holidays, and during the summer, schedules and opening hours are limited. The facility may also be periodically closed for renovation/maintenance. Missed exercise sessions will not be compensated.
  20. All exercising is contingent on the availability of places.
  21. For the benefit of all: Always wear clean indoor footwear inside the exercise facilities. Help keep the changing rooms and shower areas tidy, hygienic, and pleasant.

Välkommen tillbaka! Efter lata sommardagar är det nu många av er som är tillbaka i vardagen. Skönt eller tråkigt? Jag tror nog att de flesta av oss tycker att det känns rätt bra att vardagen drar i gång med lite mer fasta rutiner. Det tycker i alla fall jag.
